Protect Your Child From Contracting Juvenile Diabetes
Juvenile diabetes or type 1 diabetes results when the pancreas fails to produce enough insulin to properly regulate the blood sugar level. This condition is called juvenile diabetes because it can occur early on in a child’s life.
The saying “we are what we eat” holds some ground when in comes to contracting diabetes. If the parents of the child have diabetes, then the child is also at risk of developing the disease. Even more so if they are not careful with what they eat. The genetic factors are there so that you have to do everything you can to aggravate it with wrong diet and sedentary lifestyle.
While a definitive medical management and prevention of juvenile diabetes is still being studied by health scientist, being responsible with what your family eat and do is sure to help prevent juvenile diabetes from developing in your children.
